Denpasar Heritage City Tour
Join a full day city tour visiting some interesting heritages in Denpasar, the capital of Bali. Visit Puputan Badung Square an urban park with a very tragic and violent history. More than 100 years ago it was the site of an enormous, bloody puputan, or mass suicide ritual.
It is an interesting location to learn more about the history of the Balinese and their struggles against the Dutch colonizers. Bali Museum was established in 1932 and is located next to Puputan square. The museum has the finest collections of Balinese antiquities. The stylistic simplicity of the items in its 30 collection is of particular interest. Next to the museum is Jagatnata Temple, a Hindu place for worship.
The temple is beautifully designed and full of religious and artistic ornaments. Next stop at the Bajra Sandhi Monument in Renon, a symbol of Bali's struggle for independence once the Dutch colonizers had left the country. Your lunch will be served at local restaurant.
Proceed to Kuta, the most busiest tourist town on the island. Stop will be made at Discovery Shopping Mall, the only mall with a beachfront view and luxurious, classy and vibrant style, in Kuta's prime area. Here you may find restaurants, cafe, bookstores, opticians, pharmacies, amusement arcades, home accessories, jewelry and international brand outlets.
