In 2006, capitalizing on his extensive experience, Dr. Ketut Jaman, along with co-founders Dr. Diah Permana and Linaldi Salim, embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by establishing MELALI BALI DMC, based in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. The name “Melali,” which translates to “traveling to a destination” in Balinese, was chosen to reflect the company's mission of curating memorable and meaningful travel experiences. Later in 2006, Dr. Jaman volunteered his expertise to support the “Bali Tourism Recovery Program,” an initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. This program, designed to rejuvenate Bali's tourism sector, involved Dr. Jaman in numerous international outreach efforts, including sales missions, table tops, roadshows, and tourism exchanges in countries such as Germany, France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, India, China, Singapore, and Vietnam.
