The National Quality and Productivity
Convention (NQPC), an annual event hosted by Wahana Kendali Mutu, took place at
the prestigious Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre (BNDCC), centered around the
theme “Realizing the Golden Generation through Green Innovation and
Productivity.” This highly anticipated convention brought together over 2,400
participants from more than 220 companies, state-owned enterprises (SOEs),
government agencies, universities, and non-profit organizations across
Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. NQPC 2024 provided a dynamic platform for
showcasing groundbreaking innovations that drive productivity improvements
across diverse sectors such as pharmaceuticals, mining, manufacturing, and
banking. With 20 competitive streams, including Quality Excellent Activity (QEA)
and Quality Strategic Innovation (QSI), the event highlighted the importance of
quality and innovation in building a sustainable future. In addition to the
engaging competitions, the convention featured side events such as an energy
exhibition, a field trip, and a captivating gala dinner with a traditional
Balinese cultural performance. The success of the event was made possible
through strong collaboration with partners like the Indonesian Association for
Quality and Productivity Management (IAQPM), the Ministry of Manpower of the
Republic of Indonesia, the Bali Provincial Government, the Asian Productivity
Organization (APO), and various professional organizations. The NQPC continues
to be a cornerstone event for those driving innovation, quality, and productivity
in Asia, providing invaluable insights and fostering collaboration among key
industry leaders committed to shaping a more productive and sustainable future.
