The Annual International Forum on Economic Development and Public Policy (AIFED), initiated by the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, was held at the Grand Hyatt Bali, Nusa Dua, and attended by 300 international participants. This annual economic forum brought together governments, state-owned enterprises, NGOs, universities, and international partners. With the theme "Growth Strategies in Navigating Geoeconomic Shifts," the forum discussed strategies to address the fragmentation of the global economy, changing geopolitics, climate change, and technological developments. During the opening ceremony, Minister of Finance H.E. Sri Mulyani stated that President Prabowo’s priority agendas include several key areas of development, namely food and energy security, human resource development, institutional reform, and industrial and downstream policies. The forum also highlighted industry policies based on regional contexts, the formation of national "champions," and learning from other countries, such as strengthening Taiwan's semiconductor industry and Germany's renewable energy sector. The AIFED was expected to produce strategic recommendations for the Indonesia's new government to leverage economic opportunities, manage global challenges, and enhance national resilience.
