The ASEAN Treasury Forum 2024 (ATF), an annual gathering of finance and treasury professionals across Southeast Asia, took place at the vibrant The Stones Legian in Bali, under the theme “Enhancing Treasury Capacity for Regional Economic Resilience.” Organized by Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance, the forum brought together Directors General of Treasury from ASEAN member countries, alongside approximately 200 key delegates, to deepen collaboration and share best practices in public financial management. Supported by Indonesia’s Minister of Finance, H.E. Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, S.E., M.A., who highlighted the critical role of cooperation in fortifying the regional treasury system, the ATF 2024 provided a platform for advancing the capacity of treasury professionals. A major focus of the event was on the transformative role of technology and innovation in enhancing treasury systems, exploring how digital solutions can improve operational efficiency and contribute to financial stability across ASEAN. The forum was further enriched by a gala dinner, offering participants a chance to network, exchange insights, and immerse themselves in the region’s cultural diversity. By fostering greater regional cooperation, the ATF 2024 helped to build a stronger, more resilient financial framework for Southeast Asia, driving progress toward a stable and prosperous economic future for the region.
