The UNESCO Gateways Study Visit Indonesia (GSVI), hosted by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, was held in Bali at The Meru Sanur. The event, centered around the theme "Championing Innovation: Embracing the Power of Digital Transformation in Education," focused on Indonesia's use of digital technologies to enhance its education system, improve quality, and promote equal access. More than 250 delegates from 25 countries attended, including government officials, academics, and education professionals, who shared insights on effective policies and practices for educational digitalization. The event featured interactive workshops and sessions, offering a platform to discuss the challenges and solutions of digital transformation in education. In his speech at the workshop, H.E. Nadiem Makariem, Indonesia's Minister for Education, Research, and Technology, highlighted the event’s goal of fostering international collaboration and inspiring the global adoption of innovative educational practices.
