The Indonesia Procurement Forum & Expo (IPFE) 2024, a joint initiative by LKPP (Government Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institute) and IAPI (Indonesian Procurement Experts Association), successfully took center stage at the Convention and Exhibition Grand City Surabaya. This highly anticipated event spotlighted products from e-catalogues, bridging government institutions and private sector entities under the theme, "Promoting Increased Accountability in E-Purchasing Transactions and Enhancing Business Capacity". Drawing an impressive 2,500 participants from government agencies, private industries, and universities nationwide, the forum featured key thought leaders, including Mr. Setya Budi Harijanta, Deputy for Legal Affairs and Settlement of Grievances at LKPP; Mr. Ir. Joko Irianto, M.Sc., Assistant for Economic Affairs and Development at the Secretariat of East Java Province; and Mr. Sonny Sumarsono, Chairman of the Central Board of IAPI. In his address, Mr. Sumarsono emphasized the event's mission to boost transactional efficiency and streamline procurement processes, creating greater value for businesses and consumers alike. Additionally, the forum aimed to deepen knowledge on procurement from academic and regulatory perspectives while fostering dynamic business interactions between buyers and sellers. The IPFE 2024 set a strong foundation for advancing procurement standards and driving accountability in Indonesia’s growing e-purchasing landscape.
